The Goat Brains pepper is a recent cross between Bahamian Goat and Scotch Brains , created by enthusiast Justin White living in the United States . It draws its genetic origins from these renowned Capsicum chinense varieties, combining high yield and visual originality.

The plant is compact yet prolific, bearing squat fruits 4 to 5 cm long with heavily wrinkled skin, resembling small, shriveled brains, which ripen from green to a very light peach. The Goat Brains pepper is prized as much for its unusual appearance as for its intense heat.
