💧 Watering : Keep the soil slightly moist, but not overwatered. Regular light watering is better than heavy soaking.

☀️ Light : Place your plant in a bright location, ideally near a window. Avoid direct sunlight behind a window, which could burn the young shoots.

🌿 Care : As the plant grows, you can lightly prune it to encourage regrowth. If it becomes too large, transplant it into a larger pot and reuse your glass for a new seed!

The Carolina Reaper chili pepper takes super chilies to another level! The variety was officially recognized as the hottest in the world by Guinness World Records in 2013.

It was created by Ed Currie , a chili pepper grower in South Carolina, USA. To create the Carolina Reaper , Ed Currie crossed a Naga Morich from Pakistan and a Red Habanero , and the name "Reaper" was given to it because of the shape of its apical end, which resembles that of a scythe.

Culinary characteristics

The Carolina Reaper pepper is the undisputed king of super peppers. Behind its extreme heat lies a complex aromatic profile. From the very first seconds, it releases sweet and fruity notes , reminiscent of cherry, chocolate, and cinnamon . These warm aromas are quickly swept away by a searing wave of heat that intensifies and lingers for several minutes.

It can be used dry, rehydrated, or in powder form to enhance sauces, marinades, meats, or stews. Caution: precise dosage is essential, as just a few crumbs can ignite an entire dish!
